umm... I believe it's electronically locking... you can open and lock it I believe... there is a button that control that in the car. much about all of that.. this is the first AWD I've ever owned... It is a 5 speed manual... so i do know that there is a 50/50 split in the AWD whatever that may mean to you.

Your 88 xt6-parting... Has an open or locking rear diff(LSD)?

Thank you for the offer however ive decided to part out my '88 XT6 since it will take way too much to make it road worthy ebough to pass inspection!
