  1. Engine Swap

    timjonn posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    I have a 2.5L 1998 Outback Legacy. The timing belt slipped prematurely and engine is toast. I can get a 1997 legacy 2.2L engine cheap, but am not sure if it will swap. Both are automatics. Does any one know if this is possible?
