Does any of the fuseable links on a 86 xt control the starting of the car? I think one of them might have gone out. The car has full power but when you go to start the starter motor does not seem to crank.

I am installing my intercooler on my 86 xt right now, the question is with my xt now running a intercooler is a blow off valve needed, if so what vac line do I need to attach to the bov?

Anyone ever use wheels spaces on a 86 xt? Do they work and where would the best place to buy them?

Where would i hook up a aftermarket speedometer sensor cable to?

the trim was already broken when i bought the car, I pick on my new trim from subaru this week, so i figured since its already off I might as well fix, replace and upgrade while its still off.

yeah i see what you are saying, not much air flow from the front anyway, I do have the stock top mount from my 2010 wrx that i am not using, I might see if that can be of any use.

Does my 86 xt turbo need that trip computer that is in the dash? I want to use that area for my boost and air/fuel gauges.

I just changed my gauge cluster in my 86 xt turbo from the digital to the analog but now the fuel gauge is all screwed up. Is there a different fuel level sender for the analog cluster?

How is the turbo on a 86 xt cooled?

Well I got the car for 950, just as a work car for me. I have a 2010 wrx. I just dont know much about this car. Right now I am fixing all the problems. The engine, tranny and tubro are in good shape for the age of the car. But I am just trying to find out what kind of upgrades I can do. Today I am replacing the coolent hoses and getting the tranny flushed. I have replaced the exhaust from right after the cat with 2 3/4" pipe and a turbo exhaust. Body of the car is in perfect shape, just needs new paint.

Anyone know what kind of upgrades that can be done to a 86 xt turbo?
