    I have a 93 Impreza with 140,000 miles. I've been having trouble shifting it from park into another gear. A local, non-subaru mechanic, unplugged a sensor to the brake, plugged it in again and it worked--for a day. Now it's out again. Eventually, after several attempts, I can get the car in gear. Is this any easy and inexpensive fix? What needs to be done? Thanks for any info.
