  1. How do you replace hydrolic lifters?

    boomboom posted a topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
    I have an 86 4x4 turbo wagon that has a loud tick coming from the right head. I pulled the valve cover off and found I could not push in one of the lifters. My Chiltons manual does not show how to replace a lifter. Are there any articals that show how to do this? Do you have to pull the cam out to get a lifter out? Thanks.
