  1. check for spark on all cylinders. make sure its getting the proper ammount of fuel in to the motor. is it an automatic? make sure your transmission isnt stuck in 3rd gear or something. try smacking your cat? or replacing it. i was working on a subaru for a buddy of mine and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't accelerate. i asked my mechanic friend about it and he said the catalytic convertor was probably plugged. sent it to a muffler shop and it came back running way better. btw, i only singed up here to post this to tell you this, only because you are on the other side of the mountain from me. haha. idk if this makes sense though lol
