Yeah, 6 speed manual. The workshop manual just shows the drain plug under the diff but the small sump to the rear of it must be the gearbox as well? It's not a seperate front diff on these like the autos.

Hi all, I'm new on here and looking for help on my recently acquired 2005 Legacy Spec B 3.0 manual. This has a drain plug under the diff which is shown in the manual but behind that there is a sump with another drain plug on that. :-\ Should both of these plugs be removed to properly drain the gearbox oil? Do they both have washers and if so do they really need to be replaced?
