    thank you everyone for their input. i forgot it was a ea 82t im planning no major upgrades. Just exhaust and intake and possibly a bov to reduce wear on the turbo. my plans from here are to pull the motor and replace the head gaskets with felpros.

    i know i must sound new but i just recently bought my first subaru it is a 1988 gl wagon that is turbo. i am wondering what are the steps to replace my head gasket? do i have to drop the motor
