I have a '99 Legacy and the driver's side fog was out when I bought it. I figured that it just needed a new bulb. Well I went to mess with it and even after I put the new one in it still didn't work. But I noticed that there was moisture inside the fixture, but I didn't see and visual cracks. Is it prolly shorted out from the water or is there something else prolly worng. Where should I start? And has anyone else had a problem like this?

I just got a Legacy and it has the 2.5 AT. I was wondering what I should expect for gas mileage. And also, in about 2 weeks I'll be taking in on a trip out east (About 4000 miles round trip). I was wondering if there was any sort of checklist I should go over before I leave. And is there anything I should expect from my car on a long trip? Thanks guys!

Hey, I'm new to Subaru, but I'm about to pick up a '99 Legacy GT Limited. The body is in great shape and seems to have been maintained very well. The timing belt and some main seal were replaced at 85K and the car now has 99K. It's an Automatic and it doesn't look like any mods have been done. Is there anything else I should be looking for? Anything chronicly wrong with these cars?
