  2. Hey, thanks. I have always loved Subes. They have to be one of the easiest cars to work on. I got to where I could replace CV's in 30 minutes and had a Subaru only tool box, which didn't require many tools at all to work on any portion of the car. My GL10 was broken into and my Sube tools went bye bye. Here is a pic of my bimmer, enjoy. Regards, Dwight [/img] [/img] [/img]
  3. Just wanted to check in and say hi. I really enjoy this site. I've owned 3 Subes in my life time and I'm currently looking for a 82-87 brat. My first Sube was a 81 Gl wagon, rootbeer brown. Great car but gutless. Sold it and bought a 86 Gl 10 turbo sedan. Faster but very bad turbo lag. I replaced the motor with a used import. My last was a 79 Brat. My biggest complaint, besides lack of power, was lack of room. Who puts reclining seats in a car with no room to recline? I took care of that. I removed my interior and cut out the section bwtween the cab and bed. Whala! Reclining seats. I put a canopy on it for the rainy days but eventually got tired of the lack of power and sold it. That was my last Sube. I own an 87 BMW M6 with more mods than you could shake a stick at. It has 365hp and is just too nice to drive around here. When I sell it my brat search will become more focused. I will lift it, swap in a EJ and, oh yes, I will cut the cab open too. Hope to see you all around. PS, If you just happen to be looking for a really nice BMW M6 then $18,500 is the price. Regards, Dwight
