what years subi can i look to buy if im looking for an ej22 thx

thx for your help ill start looking for a donor car and yes i do want to replace a ea81 -
want to do a swap for my ae18 but dont know what donor car to look for and is the aj22 a zero tolerance motor i found one that has timing belt off,but if it broke did it trash the valves? thanks
