    Yes Im planning on doing that tonight, and possibly ohming out the wires from the coil pack to the harness connector and compare to the 97 engine???? I did not get the ECU from the donor... thanks for the response!

I have a 1997 legacy outback limited 2.5, found a good replacement 1998 legacy motor, put it in and now only the front bank coil pack fires?? th back two dont???? hummm swapped the coil and same thing Is there a wiring change from 1998 to 1997 with regard to the coil pack ?? Any help would be greatly appreciated..... thx gr
