    Hello, I figured I'd make my first post here a newbie post, sorry. I have a 2003 Outback wagon, 4 cylinder engine, manual transmission. I keep seeing references to EJ22, EJ25, E***, E**** numbers, is this an engine or car model number, or something else? Also, a Wiki page showed 2nd generation and 3rd generation Subaru's overlapping the 2003 model year, so can I safely assume that my 2003 Outback is a 3rd generation, or is there in fact an overlap where an '03 could be either or both somehow? I'm planning to replace the timing belt this weekend, way overdue, hopefully all goes well. Thanks, Mike
