    Here are a couple of pictures, it is a nice body for an engine like that. It was fun to drive before it started acting up.

    Thanks for the reply. Sadly, I know nothing about the history. I wil have to assume that it is plain Jane, and focus on why it does not start.

    I purchased a 1967 NUS spider that someone put a EA71 Subaru motor in. I was told that the EA71 was a racing engine, but I have no way to confirm this. It has two solex carbs, one I think has a stuck float. Does anyone know how i can tell what type of motor this really is.
