  1. So I recently discovered my Subaru was suffering from a completely rotted out fuel filler pipe. The valve mounted on top of the pipe just inside of the fuel port completely came apart and hoses were dangling. I ended up having to pull a pipe from a slightly newer Impreza (everything 98 and back had a different pipe, or at least appeared to) with what seemed like slightly different hose routing. Like an idiot I didn't take a picture of it before I pulled it. What I need to know is where each hose on the car goes. There are three: One under the car that connects to the metal routing line that's mounted on the filler pipe itself and I think this one is supposed to connect to the small bent pipe sticking out from the main pipe itself. Then there are two hoses that come out of the car body, an upper and lower, that presumably connect to the two ports on the valve. But which goes to which? The Haynes manual is useless for this. If someone without their dust cover on down there could snap a quick picture it would be immensely helpful. Thanks! - Colt
