  1. My '90 DL Won't get HI with Me

    wyzechoice posted a topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
    The engine purrs like a sewing machine, but I have 1st and 2nd gear only and I have to manually shift into them...won't go into Hi (Drive). I've replaced the modulator valve, which definitely needed replacing, but that did not correct the shifting problem. Has anyone else encountered this ? I've been told there are sensors which may correct this...anyone familiar with what they are called? Thanks !
