Sure - I do the 2.2 swaps for people quite often. I've done at least 8 this last year alone - did a '98 Forester about a month ago. It's quite an economical swap - usually coming in right around $1300 for a used engine with warantee, new seals/gaskets/timing belt/wp/hoses/etc, and installation. We love this swap around my shop as it's both economical and reliable.

Howdy,
Saw your posts about recommending swapping a overheated 2.5 to a 2.2 on a late 90s legacy and got me thinking about doing that for my 97 2.5 legacy auto...My engine has been run hot a lot and considering my mechanic thinks it needs a new water pump (leaking a couple tablespoons worth of coolant/day) I think it may be time to swap to a 2.2. Any interest in such a job? Living in NE Oregon but thinking of doing it when I move to the westside in the near future. Thanks
