I have an 86 Brat. I'm thinking of doing this ea81 to ej swap. I'm hopeing for some advice. My first thought was to buy an early legacy parts car and use its motor, tranny, ecu, wiring harness, etc... Will I be able to use any of its axles, steering or suspension components? I was going to rebuild the ea81 but I'm having a lot of problems with the cv axles, passenger side steering knuckle(cant find a new one..), I've stripped and tapped the exhaust outlet bolts on the heads so many times that I think its just time for new heads.. so I figure it's time for an upgrade. If any one has any tips or advice, I would greatly appreciate it!
