  1. Question about 1996 legacy trans pan gasket

    Hey guys, this is my first post on these forums, but I have a 1996 Legacy GT-B that is leaking ATF from the sump seal. I went to my local dealership to buy a new gasket but was informed that there is none and to use gasket sealer. Today I removed the pan and found a 1mm thick gasket between the mating surfaces. What's the deal here? Is there supposed to be a gasket or has Subaru changed to just using sealer instead? Cheers guys
