  1. thanks for the reply. It shakes like when,u have a bad plug wire... Update I changed plugs and wires it didnt solve the issue. I then changed pcv valve which it was plugged with black stuff.... So,far so good no more cel. Ive put 250 local miles. Even hauled one of,those uhaul storeage containers and no cel. I truly believe, that might be the issue. Once with new pcv doesnt shake as it used to...... What u think?
  2. hello im juan from orlando, normally i purchase only hondas however i really like these 2001 outback so i sold honda out and purchased a outback in new york, its a 5 speed 4 cyl 160k. drove it 17 straight hrs with no issues averaged 30 mpgs. the next day i got to orlando, i got the cel codes are p304 cylinder misfire and p0420 something with the cat. anyways yesterday i changed the spark plugs and wires ngk plugs and autolite wires. i noticed plug #4 was a bosch and the other 3 were ngk, not sure why but anyways. the light has yet to return but i feel the car still shakes a bit that didnt happen when i first purchaed the vehicle. ive spent the last 2 weeks reading up before writting this post, seems like a lot of issues with these soobies and no one has the answer. i did read somewere of a guy who had some issues took it to the dealer ship and the car was pretty much overhauled and the cel kept returning and he finally changed the knock sensor and that was the end of his problems. am not too sure if that would help me... pelase feel free to comment and keeping in mind i am new and i am not a mechanic thanks in advanced. gsr156 aka juan
