  1. I have the idles!!

    Hey... Got a 1982-88 subaru wagon... I did a VIN search on it and it comes up with the fact I should have a turbo... I am not idiot... it doesn't have one... anyways... I have the issue where... I have to feather the gas pedal to start it... she idles... but as so as I put my foot on the gas... she dies... it does back fire through the intake... hard starting cold... and when I do drive it... slight chug when going down the road, when excellerating from a stop... all power lose until about 250 hundred RPMs... then she surges to life. I read a few threads on here... and the pictures posted do not look like my cars engine and in take... I am linking my intake and engine pics... ... I am poor and looking for a easy fix and cheap fix... and I need it fixed fast...
