  1. Thanks for the advise!! I found the wiring followed it didn't get to far along and sure enough another chewed wire!! I soidered the wire and put some heat shrink on it. Also disconnected hose was the problem for the o2. I reconnected the battery no cel. I drove it CEL came back on now for p0735 shift solenoid a electrical... I would assume this is why the shift lock won't disengage.
  2. I have a 96 legacy l automatic. Shift lock is stuck so i have to manule release lock to put in drive.I recently had a code for a TPS changed the tps only to find out when I checked it to adjust it I found there wasnt power. I found the power wire was cut or chewed (since there was a squrrel nest in the compartment)I replaced the wire. After that I took the car to the wash since it wasn't driven in 3years. After I got out the wash the car lost acceleration. I tested it with the obd2 and then I got codes P1101 P0325 P0130 P0500.So I checked under the steering wheel and found the Test mode connectors (green plugs) were plugged in so I disconnected them. From there I went to the next code and checked the p0325 after cleaning the nest out replaced the knock sensor since it was cracked. Next was on to the p0130 o2 sensor. My question is a) is there only 1 in a 96 legacy there was also a hose that wasn't connected could that have been the problem? Now the p0500 I know that it uses a sensor instead of a drive And if I'm correct there is 2. The speedo works so I'm assuming it the one into the trans. The problem is I can see the connection because of the location. What I need to know about this is a) where is where does the connection from the sensor go to to disconnect it can I just test it from the ECU to see if there's a signal and a squirrel didnt chew that also and c) if so what wire on the ECU is it? I'm going to check obd2 codes again tomorrow and see what if any cleared after battery disconnect. Big thanks if any one can help!!!
