    Vehicle coverage： Toyota 1996 - 2008 Honda 1996 - 2008 Mazda 1996 - 2008 Nissan 1996 - 2008 Mitsubishi 1996 – 2008 but dont say maxiscan jp701 can do subaru.

    Check engine light on with 2008 subaru forester, Autozone far away my home, So I want to get a code scan tool for my car, Maxiscan jp701 code reader for Japanese car, Is this tool can do my car? Give me some suggestions!

    Using a scan tool, watch the MAP sensor value with the key on, engine off. Compare the BARO reading with the MAP reading. They should be roughly equal. The voltage for the MAP sensor should read approx. 4.5 volts. Now start the engine and look for a significant drop in the MAP sensor voltage indicating the MAP sensor is working.
