I'm new to the whole forum thing and the Subaru thing. I just got a 1983 Subaru GL for free that somebody gave up on it only has 100,097 miles... the only problem is the carter Weber that is under the hood. I just got a Weber 2 bbl and am working on putting it on... this forum has been really helpful so far and I'm excited to make friends and help where I can. feel free to drop a line.

I have a 1983 GL with the Carter Weber carburetor. I have a new Weber 2 bbl but I need to get a Hitachi 2 bbl intake manifold. Is there an aftermarket manifold available or should I just track down a wrecking yard one.????

I have a 1983 Gl hatchback classic case of the carter weber bad news... I have a new weber two barrel but the adapter plate that came with it is for a hitachi two bbl... how can I get ahold of the correct adapter plate to make the weber 2bbl transition???
