I am replacing the engine in my '97 Legacy Outback, and I am fishing for some tips/advice. In particular, I am wondering what options I have for motors. I am looking to buy used/rebuilt, and I'm not sure if I can use motors from other models. What should I be looking at to make sure it will fit and be compatible? Any other advice would be welcome, as well. Thank you in advance.
