  1. it seems it was in the connector I removed the terminals from the conn. at the sol and pushed them directly on the sol terminals no cel has come on since
  2. does that mean a new ecu or can the driver be programmed,the cel is out this morning we will see for the ride home I took the terminals out of the conn and pushed them onto the pins of the sol now i know i have a good connection
  3. yes if i turn my key on go back to evap sol. pull plug off, i have 12.8 volts putting one lead from meter on r/y wire and one lead on br/y,now if i take a 12 volt bulb and put r/y to filament and br/y to side of bulb grd it will not lite the bulb. if i take a wire from the frame to the side of the bulb it lites. it seems the ecu does not create a grd, i didn't try reading the b/y wire with on lead on the wire and the other to frame while hooked up to the solenoid
  4. traced evap sol br/y wire to ecu have .3 ohmes we have continuity, but it will not lite a 12 volt bulb. put a meter across red/y and br/y = 12 volts put a bulb across it won't lite, put a wire to frame and red/y to bulb it lites br/y is supose tobe signal to ecu for sol. cel ,are there any electronic gurus here that can help sol meas. 27 ohmes will fire when using a batt and putting 2 wires to sol, got to get evap lite out for insp. does the sol grd. thru the mount somehow??? already resoldered power wire, like i said i have 12 volts just not grding

I solved my problem,the connector behind the brown one under the manifold, goes to the trans here it does not have a lock and when i pulled apart the br one it must have started to come apart plugged back together it started up,i tried wiggling shifter rocking car to make sure it was in park who would have thought daaaa

Hello I was tracing the br/yel wire from evap can. unplugged plug on front pass side kick panel,ohmed wire to plug at evap coil,they were good, unplugged 3 plugs from ecu unit at pass. side floor br/y was in bottom one,ohmed from ecu to prev mentioned plug, it was good plugged back together at pass kick panel an ohmed from ecu plug to back of car at conn. it was good,NOW i had previosly un plugged brown conn. under intake man. cause i thought wire was there,but after plugging wires back together insidecar and at evap can, i cleared cel code and tried to start car , nothing happened, daaa forgot to plug brown plug together under manifold, plugged together tried to start car still nothing no click no nothing , soooo i thought maybe alarm locked out starter,everything else works in car new battery when turning key it does not phase voltage cause nothing happens, checked fuses,and main link in fuse box under hood,pulled all plugs from ecu and unbolted to look at terminals all looked good but 2 looked bentup fixed them still nothing, how do i get car to turn over WHAT DID I DOOOO
