  1. Thanks everyone for the advice. I replaced the crank sensor and the car fired right up. I was wandering, since I have replaced the coil pack and the crank sensor, should I replace the cam sensor as preventative maintance or not worry about it. Also, the engine has leaked oil for a while and it appears to be coming from the main seal. Is it possible to replace that seal on my own or do I need to take it in somewhere. How hard would it be to replace it and roughly what is the time frame for such a job. Again thanks for the advice.
  2. My wife has a 95 Subaru Legacy Wagon. It has 147,000 miles on it and the other day it wouldn't start. It ran fine the day before and then it would just turn over with no fire. I replaced the fuel filter and it still didn't start. I then checked plugs and was getting no spark. I replaced the ignition coil pack with a brand new one and it started right up. It ran for a week fine, then I drove it in the morning (ran and started fine) then went to start it up in the evening and the same proble...it just turned over and over and over and wouldn't fire. I am have no idea what is wrong now, unless I have a short in the wiring somewhere and that is shorting out the coil pack. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am lost...
