    Thanks for the quick responce! We will try the compression test this weekend. I unpluded the MAF and didnt see any difference. Where is the motor grounded at?

    My dad has had subarus my whole life and scored in finding a 1 owner 50k mile GL-10 4wd E82t wagon. Its been parked for several years (original owner died). He bought it not running, brought it home changed all the fluids, found the fuel pump not working, changed it and the fuel filter. Still not starting. Checked the injectors and have also tried to swap the ECU. Its getting spark but not starting. It turns over coughts a couple of times and dies. It never takes off running.
