Lots of good information on here guys. I think im going to do what "Theloyale" said. I should have the motor all pulled out of the car tonight. Then im gonna tear it down and check for all the damage. If nothing is to messed up its deff getting rebuilt cause im getting all the machine work done for nothing. thanks And i will keep you guys posted on how it goes.

Right on guys thanks for all the good information. I think for the time being im just gonna rebuild the EA82T. and go with that for a while. Its just gonna be my little work car for now. But a little ways down the road i am gonig to lift it and and throw some tires and wheels. And thats when i might do the swap. Thanks

What did those motors come in? How is the swap to do.

I just bought a AWD Turbo loyale for 200 bucks last week. Got it home to find out it has a bad rod bearing. So i am in the process of pulling it out so i can rebeuild it.. But am looking to see where i can find some aftermarket motor parts. I am going to do a full motor rebuild and would like to get some more more out of it. Any help would be great i am totally new to the subarus. Thanks
