  1. First off : 91 Legacy A/T, non-turbo, AWD I know this has been hashed out several times, but I just want to be sure I have all my info correct. I just replaced my ECU (thanks go out to lmdew) and now instead of getting all the trouble codes I only get 35. After unplugging and cleaning the wiring contacts it seems the canister purge solenoid is bad. The car runs much better after replacing the ECU but still idles very rough. I've read about this and think I have the right part # 14774AA351. The cheapest I've found it is about $80. My question is can I get it cheaper, is it worth buying used, and where can I find a complete list of part numbers? Thanks
  2. Yes, that's how I'm checking it. I was wondering if maybe the valve you mentioned may be causing it to show so high when I turn it off.
  3. Thanks for the info guys. I'll go ahead and put another qt in it. I don't really notice any hesitation when pulling out, though when I first start up the shifter is hard to get out of park. I have to pump the brakes while rocking the shifter back and forth a few times before it gets out of park. When I turn off the engine the fluid level goes way up which, I suppose, is normal. Thanks
  4. I just changed the transmission fluid and filter in my 91 Legacy. After installing a filter what wouldn't fit, threatening the lives of a few Advance Auto employees, and getting an ATF conditioning treatment for my hair I got it all back together. I've put 7 quarts in and it still seems to be about a quart low. Is this possible? There are no leaks. The book says it shouldn't take more than about three quarts to fill it back up. The pan was left off overnight which yielded an extra quart from slow dripping. The dipstick is hard to read, fluid will be on the sides and I try to go by whether the closest hole has fluid in it. I check it after it has been driven awhile and with the motor running. It shifts okay, but acts like it could use a little more fluid. I don't want to blow the seals by having too much though. Thanks
