Hi Everyone
I'm new to this website and have a question.
I have a 1992 Subaru Loyale and want to change the fuel filter.
A repair manual states that I have to depressurize the fuel system by removing the fuse for the fuel pump at the fuse block and let the car run until the engine stops and remove the negative battery cable after that.
I have removed the appropriate fuse for the fuel pump, but the vehicle remains on... I let it run for over 5 minutes...
Does anyone know the correct way to depressurize the fuel system so I can change the fuel filter.
Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your response and enjoy your day!
John
