Underbody is so clean and rust free you can eat off of it, its a 1991. Oh, its also been converted to coil overs.

When i 1st got it today one rocker was knocking a bit, well i ran the heck out of it, now its running perfect without a single sound comming from anywere! This thing is in great great great mechincail condition, only 100,800 miles, and i got it for $750 How much better does it get?

DAMN!!! yea, screw that, ill just have it repaired or pluged if its bad, thanks for the hints tho, and screw air suspension, ill get suspension off a mazda or toyota or something, we put mazda rx-7 front struts on my friends AE-86. And this is going to be my winter car, then im going to spend the summer restoring it, i have no idea how the engine is yet and i doubt for $900 they will take it to a shop for compression check(i dont have the gauge pump thingey) Im pretty much buying it as is and going to replace stuff as it breaks, but im overjoyed to hear they have good engines because this thing has got to last. I hope i get as much enjoyment out of it as i do my 1990 RX-7, you can check it out at www.halffastauto.cjb.net , i plan on doing the same amount of work to this XT, i love restoring old Japenese cars. And i know all about oil changes, Any rotary has oil injection to keep it lubed, you gotta put a quart in per month if you drive it alot, and they smell like 2 strokes, but they dont smoke or leak.

Thanks for all the help man, Im prolly going to get it, nothing worries me unless i have to break into the engine, suspension, transmission, rearend and stuff dont bother me. And if he said it runs great i seriously doubt it has a bad rad (heh).

How do i know for sure if the engine is shot? If it smokes like crazy, and btw, how do i know if the rads bad, and im almost sure the air suspension is bad because one side seams to sit higher. could be cause part of the car is sitting in a hole. Heh, ill prolly take the power steering out anyway.... if the car will still manage to turn. Hi, this is my 1st post here, im a mild mechanic and i currently own a nicely modifyed 1990 Mazda rx-7 and im looking for something AWD thats cheap, 1st thing comes to mind is XT6, well i found a really really beat up one but its all stuff i can fix easy sence i have a welder and a 35 gallon air compressor, and i need to know certant things to be aware of when buying, they are asking $1,100 OBO and im thinking its worth about $800, i just need some help on what to look for PLEASE. I dont mean to make anyone mad, but i do need some answers/links soon i looked a little and i wasnt able to find what i wanted, i just need to know commin things that go out on thies cars that i should be aware of.
