Started out with a ol' loyale when I was 17. Had totalled a car pretty bad at 16 (wrapped it around a tree) so I was terrified to drive in the snow or any crappy weather. My best friend though insisted that I go out with him and play around in his subbie. So after doing 360's, drifts, and some jumps I got over it. Then it was on to my lessons... how to control the car and how to drive a manual. Man after that I was hooked. I went from terrified to fearless. My dad never liked to work on cars so I didn't have the luxury of hanging out in a garage. When I broke my car I went to my buddy he then taught me what had gone wrong, what this doo hicky thing is... and on and on. When we graduated I went off to college and he went off to "live his dream". He built rally cars and traveled from one end of the US to the other. The subaroo bug never left me, I have owned 5 loyale's, 2 imprezas, and now a lifted forester to fit knarly knubby BF's on, and a plane Jane outback limitted. I still have a hood to an impreza for a momento. I volunteer at Sno-Drift in Atlanta, MI, and help out with promoting a grassroots race team "Subaroots". In honor of my buddy passing away in 2011 at Olympus I will always "live my dream" and drive those subbies.
