  1. Chilton's 1970-1988 manual uas good carb diagrams--I found one at local library-
  2. will it harm to use a bottle of that type of fuel tank additive - the car has 182,000 and is hard starting, stalls at idle, getting poor mpg- no stall id keep idle at 2000 !! - have replaced primary fuel filter -suspect it wss original - it was very cloggd green stuff in filter paper!!- and got a secondary filter today, recently replaced wires and plugs- also had front crankseal leak- got it replaced for $100- that caused quite bit oil soak in front area--
  3. wow-with that I'd look for a reputable local soob garage!! but with care maybe not necessary-
  4. yesterday I just changed primary fuel filter in my '83 GL wagon- it was very cruddy-probably had 182,000 mls! it is located as Tom, etc said above a removable shelf outside and in front of the tank and the pump is about 2" in front of the filter- under car on right side near front of right rear tire asap I'll change filter (secondary) in engine compartment -
