  1. Out of town and need some help (shift lock related on a 2008 impreza)

    First post. Bit of a crisis here as I'm stuck at the in-laws. Any help would be appreciated. I can operate the shifter as long as I use the shift lock release (with the screwdriver), otherwise I can't shift it out of park. My brake lights are fine. Is it possible this is just a blown fuse and something I can fix myself?
