New Subaru Outback owner wondering about rear sway bar
Beesh replied to Beesh's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXNot as I understand…..I believe the newer gen. Outbacks have a 15mm sway bar. Some have 'complained' about lane wandering at highways speeds….as such, some have opted for a beefier sway bar. A couple of years ago, Outback owners were installing 19mm Rallitek sway bars with some success….but I can't find anything on their site….best option now seems to be the STi 18mm….. I'd love to hear from those who have upgraded…worth it? Does it make a significant difference??

New Subaru Outback owner wondering about rear sway bar
I recently purchased a 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited. I understand that some Outback owners have upgraded their sway bars (from 15 mm to 18 or 19 mm). I have investigated Ralltek and Whiteline without much luck, but I did receive a suggestion about the 18 mm STi OEM sway bar... Thoughts? Advice? Thx

New to Subaru and new to USMB
Hello... Just purchased my 'new' 2010 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited....pretty happy to finally be a Subaru owner. We were looking for a car to replace a great 2005 Altima and it was down to two cars....a 2008 Audi A6 and the Outback..... although the A6 was a nice car, in the end, the Subaru was the smarter/better choice...I am loving this car.... Ironically, I think it was my interest in Subarus that spurred my inlaws into buying their first Subaru a few years ago....since then, they've owned 2 Foresters and an Outback....I have finally caught up. Anyhow, nice to be 'part of the club'....hoping to learn a lot. I would welcome and appreciate any advice from all you more experienced Subaru owners... Thx
