I forgot to say my car is a manual. Does that mean that I cannot do this? I have not seen the fuse holder by the firewall, so I guess I'm out of luck.

I have heard that you can make the car into two wheel drive when you don't need the all wheel drive. Can I do this to my car? A 96 Legacy Outback. Thanks for the help. If I can , how do I do it?

Sorry, forgot to say. It is the 2.2 with a 5 speed.

I just bought a 96 Outback with 230,000 miles. Still runs stronge. Bought from a dealer that specilizes in Subaru's. I was searching the web for up grade parts for the car but cannot seem to find any performance parts for it. Can someone point me in the right direction. Also somewhere to go and read of simple mods to do. Thanks
