I am doing a clutch on my 86 Subaru GL. Where I took the flywheel out to get it turned I didn't match mark it so how can I align it properly again. Other than balance the only thing I can see that it needs to be aligned for is the timing marks. Please help....

Thanks. So i can swap the heads from the carb'd engine in either case. I'm not sure if the one I found is multi port or single. Idk if I can pass the deal up I originally got an 86&87 gl wagons both for 500$. this guy is asking 300$ for the low mile engine. I love this car it's a warrior for sure I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did. The 87 has a blown engine thanks to me. I want to do an ej swap on one of them. Being my first Subarus to tinker with I kinda want to do a simple swap before I dive into the ej swap.....

My carb'd ea82 seized and I found an ea82 not carb'd. Is it difficult to switch mpfi or spfi to carb. Or change everything to support mpfi - spfi?
