  1. I'm not sure. I replaced it with one of the ones that said it would it. It is a spectra premium and now that I read the fine print yes it says carb model but on the website it says fits my vehicle. Didn't see that carb identification tho. There's other I can buy for fuel injection. So that would be the problem then? Hopefully

  3. It was one of the fuses. Number 12 wasn't connected at all. Plugged this in and suddenly everything started turning on. But now another prob exists. It will start and then die immediately and dies quicker if I try to press the gas. Any ideas. Thanks
  4. Idk what else to do I've checked all fuses and they are good and everything
  5. 87 subaru gl 1.8 FI 4x4 wagon This is the exact same situation that was found on http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/118912-88-dl-starts-then-dies/ But was never solved. Same ecu codes: 6 repeated and that's it. It will start up and then immediately die. If I try to press on the gas then it dies quicker. Checked fuel pump and it is good. I checked it at the fuel connection and it spews out gas. This is the thing that looks like a carb but isn't because the car is fuel injection. I
  6. Photo seems easiest it's attached
  7. So what else did you need to know
  8. Definately carb on my model
  9. 87 suburbs gl wagon 4x4 and yes there's spark
  10. I changed the fuel pump and I know that it works because when I disconnect the line and bypass the fuel relay it pumps fuel. So I changed the fuel relay because I wasn't getting fuel while the key was turn or cranked or anything. So I replaced it and still nothing changed. No fuel will pump without bypassing.
  11. 4 year old post but the problem was never solved. I'm having this same issue. I changed the fuel pump relay and still no fuel when the key is turned. If I by pass then fuel comes out but this relay is brand new and it still isn't allowing fuel to enter the engine
  12. I think I might be out of fuel. Got the new relay and inst alled it . By added to see if it was sucking fuel and no fue came out. I had just put about 2 gallon in but maybe that's not enough. Going to add a few more in the morning and see if it helps. And yes it's a California car 4x4
  13. So bypassed the pole like you said and immediately heard the pump turn on . A great sound to hear after all the digging through all the wires and testing allvthe power points. So next step I would guess is order a new relay?
