  1. Update. Just finished. I have done DIY oil changes for 30 years. All the manuals say the 3.6l has a capacity of 6.9 quarts (6.5l) of oil. I used a pneumatic oil extractor and got just 4 quarts out. Double triple checked the dip stick and it was definitely dry. Took the filter off and about another half quart was there. So I refill with Shell t6 and put 4 quarts in and measure with the dip stick. Slightly below full. Ran the engine. No leaks. Rechecked and added another .5 quart. Full. Where the hell is the other 2.5 quarts? As an aside, the dealer so over tightened the filter and put red thread lock on the oil pan bolt. Impossible to get the oil pan bolt off and with great effort the filter.
  2. Going to switch to Shell t6. Any thoughts or gotchas? Thanks.
  3. My wife has the 2014 last off the line Tribeca. We love it. Has had no issues in a year of ownership.
  4. Any known problem areas inherent to the model. Ie. weak electrics..etc.. Thanks.
  5. Thanks. Forgot about airbags. Anybody know if 2013 seats are the same in 2014s? Not a lot of choices since the 2014 has been discontinued but figured very little was changed year over year.
  6. Just got a 2014 Tribeca. Last of the line or real close. Anyway, love it. Wife loves it. She wants me to put some seat covers in it. Ideas and recommendations welcome. Traded a 2004 Mazda MPV. Seats were covered entire time and looked like new.
