Your right those combo switches are steep. rockauto has after market for $220 at the cheapest. Just made me think, I bet i could rerout to a floor switch like my '73 ford pickup. I can't afford the switch right now.

they both work fine when you "flash you high-beams" but when you want to run with your high beams some times they come on and some times you are running down the road in the dark.

My '97 Legacy wagon has a problem: When I flip on the High Beams, some times they come on but more and more they don't. If I flip the stalk back the highs come on. So i'm guessing that the switch is going out. Do I have to pull the steering wheel to access the switch? Any place to get guidance?

Seems like one of the biggest changes is the move of the injectors to the cylinder heads. wonder if the cat. under the engine will reduce warm up time and result in better mileage?
