  1. Thanks so much for all the friendly advice! I have had many cars and many motorcycles but this is my first Subaru. I have fallen in love with this car. I am so anxious to get it going with the new engine. I have done some over due maintenance on the car so I hope it's going to feel like a completely different machine. Thanks again.
  2. Is the pitch stopper the bar that goes to the firewall If so yes I have one. I had to trim the bracket a little to get it to fit the way I wanted it. I may end up needing to build a stronger one. What motor mounts are those in the pic? I have round ones out of a 90 Legacy. I just need to take the weight off the mounts and fill that void?
  3. Dose the spacer go between the bracket and engine or between the mount and the bracket? I remember thinking that the ej mounts wouldn't sit right on the crossmember. I think it's stamped for a rectangle mount. So I guess I'm trying to span that indentation in the crossmember with the bottom of the round mount and trying to get it as flat as possible?
  4. Are the group n mounts a direct bolt in or will they also need to be shimmed? They are not much more than the stock ej mounts and I already need to replace both of mine.
  5. What is the best way to bolt the 2.2 in to my 86 wagon? I bolted the legacy mounts to my crossmember and they both cracked on the inside. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
