  1. I am in the same place with you, no white smoke, fans work, new radiator, new thermostat...now looking at head gaskets for signs of leaks. Good luck to us both! Hoping not to have to pull it but not looking good!
  2. Hi, new to this site, just bought 2001 Outback with 199000 miles plus and with overheating issues. Drove on the highway 141 miles no issues til I stopped at the gas station. Then it wanted to overheat! So checking it out to see if it is anything more than the head gaskets. Seems to be the thing with them. I fell in love just in the short drive I had in it. Roommate just got. 93 Impreza wagon and loves it as well. Anxious to get fixed and do the daily drive with it.
