98 subaru legacy ts-r wagon cheers

Hi, my climate control has a rotary knob to select the desired temp. as you turn it though half the time the temperature goes the wrong way, or just goes up or down and then straight back to where it was.. anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Hey guys / girls.. 1. Well the problem is, when accelerating or staying at a constant speed, car always jerks a little bit (always a lot worse with the air con on) but still does it with it off. 2. Problem only started latly, but when starting off on a hill, its like your in 4th gear... have to ride the clutch like anything to stop stalling. 3. last couple of days, when starting off from cold in first gear, put your foot down and nothing happens... comes right in about 4 or so seconds, but will still jerk a lot. 4. when travelling over a bumpy road car jerks (like you are taking your foot the of the accelerator and then pushing it down hard constantly.. Cheers any adice appreciated.. always like to get ideas before i take it in

Ok its a long list but here it goes. New engine, Air Flow Meter, Coolant temp sensor, Knock Sensor. 1. When cold and after start, resonble amount of smoke out back smells very rich... (fuels ecconomy ************ but arnt all subarus) (oil cunsumption a little but bugger all maybee 1/2 a litre every 10000kms 2. Idle fine after start, but if you rev it a few times when it returns to idle it runs like a sack of ************. 3. When driving and its cold, when it changes into second there is a bog down / hesitation if you put your foot down more it doesnt seem to do anything but changes the engine sound (like to much fuel) the kick down ie changing down a gear doesnt really seem to work well when cold either) safty thing? PLEASEE HELP ME!!!!!!!!, such a wonderfull car when its hot, but a peice of ************ when its cold,, spent a fortune trying to figure this out, still no luck though...

96gtb problem only occurs when coldish new engine, air flow meter, primary turbo, coils 1,st Strong rich mixture on first start (cold) 2,nd RPM changed =/- 200' sometimes when cold and idling 3,rd When it changed into 2nd gear, the car seems to decelerate (like its looses fuel/power) then the engine sorta accelerates decelerates like its trying to figure out how much fuel to put in) Once it warms it goes like a weapon 4th) sometimes when putting it into drive etc.. the engine RPM drops very very low and almost stalls ANY help would be greatly appreciated getting sick of spending all my money on this one problem

as above its a 96 legacy gtb wagon. anyone know this?

hi i have a 96 legacy gt wagon, got a new engine for it but now when accelerating foot hard down seems to have white smoke coming from exhaust, pings a little when reving in idle. also on cold mornings when it changes to 2nd a lot of hesitation / decelerating and then fixes it self. also smell of fuel from exhaust when reving in nuetral. my thoughts fuel? but know **** all about cars
