  1. Tough Decision to turbo or not to turbo?

    Decided to buy a brat, from an old subaru shop that has a few sitting around. of the two i like there's a stick with 85000 miles on it, or a turbo with 120000...only thing is i've been sourcing parts and i'm pretty sure if the transmission on it goes i'm stuck swapping the original out anyways. what do you guys think? both are priced mid 2k. body's arent too rusty. would rather have the extra horses of the turbo, but would like to be able to get more than 20000 miles worth of use out of it before a major conversion/repair. open to thoughts and suggestions.
