  2. 2.5 to 2.2 Engine & Trans swap questions

    I have seen many posts about 2.5 to 2.2 engine swaps what I want to know is this: Can I swap a 98 2.2 engine and manual trans together into an 03 Outback? The Outback is an automatic. I own a 98 Legacy ej22 so naturally I have the entire wiring harness and ECU which I assumed would have to be swapped over. What issues regarding drive shafts, mounts, axles, clutch pedal and cable etc etc would I run into? Would this even be worth my time?
