I'm a guy in his late 50's, a father of a newly married 21 year old daughter (see profile pic).

I got into working on Subarus when I got my first one -- a '98 forester fixer that needed a timing belt and heads redone.

Since then I've bought and brought back to life a 2001 and 1998 Outback Limited wagon that needed engines, a '99 Forester that needed a tranny, a '94 SVX that needed a tranny, and a '99 30th anniversary Legacy wagon
that needed some TLC to get it running right. The '99 is my daily driver. The SVX is my toy. The rest have been sold. I also have a 2001 Outback wagon I'm working on.

I support myself by being a jack-of-all trades that working as a handyman, commercial and prosumer espresso equipment repair and restoration, small and large appliance repair,  computer repair, and buy subi "fixers" to repair and and either keep (if it's a step up) or sell.

I'm also into sailing, power boating, and singing.
