  1. change stub axel seal in 98Legacy Outback transaxel

    my subaru posted a topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVX
    I have a 98 Legacy Outback Wagon, the output transaxel is leaking from the right stub axel, the retainer housing has a clamp held in place with a single bolt. Does the retainer turn out to remove the seal and hold the stub shaft in place? Are their any settings related to moving or removing this retainer? My manuel has no infomation about changing this seal, any infomation about this repair will be helpfull.
