Wow..never knew that.. Makes since though..never had a turbo car.. Let me ask u this then.. Since I'm waiting I know I'll probably miss the 05 forester xt.. So I'm probably going after what I really want an 08ish impreza wrx hatchback...I think it looks great.. I saw a post that its recommended to ngk plugs (always do except on my Chevy) and now I know to synthetic..any specific brand? Yes..sorry it an xt.. And y run full synthetic? I've owned a 79 Chevy and an 99 Isuzu amigo never ran sy thetic...was always told not needed..

The car looks great but the high miles concern me.. Like someone said turbo might have an issue and will probably need a new timing belt VERY soon.. I've decided to wait. I'm working on a home loan first then will go back to vehicle find.. Thanks for the input guys!

It did actually talked with the people in going to lend from decided to wait..simply cuz I'm trying to buy a house and the cones first! I'll post when I do get my Subaru!!

Looking at possibly getting an 05 forester with 195k miles. I know I'll need a mechanic to take a look at it.. Its in to me to oh.. Anyone recommend a good mechanic that could look at it to make sure its sound. (Prefer a subaru cert.) Body looks good but looks can b deceiving.. It's also at a dealer. But I don't trust them..I'd u know what I mean. Thanks!

That's a god point.hadn't thought of that the car is at a dealer but I've never bought one from a dealer so I didn't know I could have it inspected..I'll look into tat after tomorrow meeting with someone about a loan..thanks!

OK.. The vehicle I'm looking at is in Ohio..idk where a mechanic is..let's say I get it and its lose.. What dies that mean..need a new one? And do u know what the ruff cost of a timing belt change is?

While I'm thinking kfnit.. I'm looking at an 05 forester xt. But it has 196k miles but looks to b in really great shape. Only 6500.. Is it a good deal or no.. Also, its almost 200k how long r the boxer engines known to b good for?!
