Forester susp on a 91 Legacy
My sons 'suby' friends say forester springs and struts will fit his car. He got them on the front. I cannot get them to fit in back. The spring hits the inner fender which stops it from being bolted in on top. Maybe if we pulled the hub assembly off, bolted it in and then tried to put the hub back on? That is way too much work for me. Anyone have experience with this swap? Help please. I want my garage back.

Jacks replied to Jacks's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXOk so Ill look for that switch. Assuming I can get to it from under the car without pulling the trans? Must be by the shift lever?

Just put a new ignition switch in with no change. Really appreciate the help.. When I put a test light on that wire to the small spade while key turned to crank, it did not light up.

Rear wheel bearing?
Hey all, So the 92 Legacy wagon is making a noise that sounds like a bearing. Low grade growl that get louder at speed. How hard is it to change it out? The boy's Suby friends say buy a new hub at the junkyard as changing a rear bearing is no fun.. Is it a hard job? What is your opinion? Thanks

Brake issues 92 Legacy
Hello all, My sons Legacy wagon. We put on new rotors and pads on all corners, bled em out. Can't get good pedal and the ABS light comes on. We bled them clean. The rears are rubbing and as an old school muscle car guy Im a bit puzzled? Maybe the master has an internal leak? Ideas? Thanks
